Salicylic acid is very effective as both a surface exfoliant, as well as having the ability to penetrate & exfoliate deeply within the pore. This process results in the chemical extraction of sebum plugs from the pore. Salicylic acid also demonstrates topical antibacterial properties which may help to clear up existing acne eruptions, as well as discouraging new breakouts, blackheads & whiteheads. This beta-hydroxy acid solution is perfect for normal to oily skin types as well as acneic skin. Keep pores clear & skin smooth with this serious skin exfoliant. Available in 2% or 5% Salicylic Acid. If you have not used a BHA before, we recommend starting with the 2% and working up to 5% over time. Using 5% on skin that is not accustomed to low pH acids may result in excessive dryness and/or peeling.
